2. Visiting the website
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security providers process technical request data, including your IP address, the requested page, date and time, browser and device information, referring page where transmitted, and connection or error information. This enables page delivery, reliability and protection against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Technical logs are retained for the period needed for operation, troubleshooting and security, and longer where an incident or legal requirement makes this necessary. The hosting platform controls its infrastructure log retention. Further information: OpenAI privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy.
3. Email and telephone enquiries
If you contact us, we process your contact details and the information you provide to respond and discuss your project. Email and communications providers handle messages as part of delivering these services. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about entering a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence, reflecting our interest in answering enquiries.
Correspondence is kept until the enquiry is resolved and any follow-up is no longer needed. Contract and business records may be retained for applicable statutory periods (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) or while needed to establish or defend legal claims. Please avoid sending resident records or other sensitive project data in an initial enquiry.
4. Booking a call with Google Calendar
Booking buttons are links to an external Google Calendar appointment page. Google is contacted when you follow the link; the calendar is not embedded on this website. Google processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive the booking details you submit, such as your name, email address, appointment time and any notes, to arrange and conduct the call (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Appointment details are deleted when the call and related follow-up are complete, unless they form part of a continuing business relationship or must be kept by law.
5. Cookies, fonts and examples
Our website code does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party font services. Language selection uses separate page addresses rather than a tracking cookie. Infrastructure providers may use necessary security or delivery mechanisms. The interactive examples use fictional data and run in your browser; they do not submit your data to an AI service.
6. Recipients and international processing
Data may be processed by the hosting, infrastructure, email and booking providers described above, and by authorities where legally required. Providers may operate internationally, including in the United States. For processing by providers outside the EEA, applicable transfer safeguards must be in place, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Provider privacy information explains their relevant arrangements; contact us for information about processing relating to your enquiry or booking.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it for the future. Contact sam@brick-worx.com to exercise your rights.
You can complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
8. Providing data and automated decisions
You do not need to provide enquiry or booking details to browse the website. Contact and appointment details are needed if you want a reply or a booked call; without them we may be unable to arrange it. This website does not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
